The Chase Sapphire Preferred Credit Card is rated one of the best travel rewards credit cards year after year. It has an awesome sign-up bonus: 60,000 points when you spend $4,000 in the first 3 months, no foreign transaction fees, and 2 points on travel and dining.
Those 60,000 points turn into almost $750 in travel rewards! Think of all the places you can go for $750!
You can apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred Credit Card right here and start earning tons of travel rewards points.
Bank Of America Travel Rewards Credit Card Review
Unfortunately to qualify for this travel credit card, you must have a superior credit score and be willing to pay a $95 annual fee. Spending $4,000 in 3 months may not be in everyone’s budget because it’s a lot of money. If you can’t meet the minimum spending requirement for bonus points, the Chase Sapphire Preferred Credit Card probably isn’t the best option.
However, read on for other travel rewards credit card options that may be better suited to what you’re looking for!
The Chase Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Travel Credit Card is a very popular choice for Americans who like to travel domestically.
While you may not be a fan of Southwest’s seated boarding process, they have plenty of domestic flights, an excellent cancellation policy, and even some international options. Hello, Costa Rica, Belize and Cuba!
Bank Of America Travel Rewards Credit Card Benefits Guide
You currently get 40,000 points when you sign up and spend $1,000 in the first 3 months. Not only is this a good amount of points, but just $1,000 in spending in 3 months is a very small amount compared to other travel credit cards.
They offer Southwest Plus and Priority credit cards. It’s also simpler with fewer rewards, like advanced boarding and anniversary points. It has low annual fees and foreign transaction fees.
The Southwest Priority Travel Credit Card has a higher annual fee, but you get more anniversary points, no foreign transaction fees, a $75 annual travel credit, and early boarding. Find out all the differences between Southwest travel credit cards here.
Without a doubt, the best travel incentive a Southwest credit card can offer you is the Southwest Companion Pass. If you collect enough points in a calendar year, i.e. spend enough, you will receive a free flight for the whole year!
