Nyu Law Health Insurance

We offer universal, hassle-free medical services, free or at low cost to all students, regardless of insurance. Students are assigned to a primary care team on call and can manage their health care needs with them. For some medical conditions, the student’s provider may refer the student to a specialist for consultation and treatment.

Saving The Teeth Of Patients With Special Needs

We also offer on-site specialty care, gynecology, vaccinations, confidential HIV testing and preventive care, optometry, nutritional and sexual health counseling, and physical therapy.

Counseling and Wellness Services (CWS) can help students with mental health issues, such as stress, anxiety, alcohol or drug addiction, eating disorders, depression, family problems, self-harm, and more.

The problem is too big or too small: call, chat, meet or meet with a counselor for a one-day express consultation session.

Our full-service pharmacy can assist students with their prescription needs, including medication counseling, drug information, education, and a variety of medications (brand name and generic).

Requires all students enrolled in degree programs to maintain health insurance. Most students are automatically enrolled and paid for student health insurance as part of the course registration process.

Students with alternative health insurance who meet the University’s minimum health insurance coverage criteria may opt out of the subsidized student health insurance plan entirely.
